Dental Assisting 50th Anniversary Student & Equipment Fund
Since its first graduating class in 1967, CNC’s Dental Assisting program has welcomed students locally, regionally, and from all over the world.
The impact of CNC’s dental programs are significant. The program was first accredited in 1977, and has consistently achieved the highest accreditation status the Commission of Dental Accreditation of Canada awards. A remarkable 98 to 100 per cent of PornÑо¿Ëùdental graduates pass the National Dental Assisting Board exam each year.
- Our graduates are now in all corners of the province, most remaining in private practice.
- Several have come back to either teach or work supporting PornÑо¿ËùDental Studies.
- One graduate is working in Qatar teaching Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene.
- One graduate taught Dental Assisting in London England and went on to head the digital radiography department of a major dental supplier. This grad now designs, plans and sets up dental offices.
The success of our program is only possible with the amazing support of the community, our patients and mentorship through partners such as the Prince George and District Dental Society. The Society has offered practicum support in dental offices over the past 50+ years, giving our students the opportunity to work on patients and practice their entry-level skills.
