Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging

At CNC, we want students, staff, and faculty to feel safe and secure. That’s why we are working to better include Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) in everything we do. We strongly believe that a mix of diverse viewpoints, experiences, and backgrounds enrich the learning environment. We are working to better embrace differences, create opportunities, and improve access. Our hope is to create a space where all voices are heard, and all students are empowered to learn from each other.

Strategy Development

One of the goals of the lhulh whuts’odutel’eh | Learning Together strategic plan is to foster collaboration, diversity, and inclusion at CNC. This includes challenging racism and promoting equity and social justice through College processes, practices, programming, training, and supports.

We have retained Credence & Co., a Canadian consulting firm, to lead our efforts. The strategy development will begin with consultations with students and employees, including a confidential online survey, followed by a series of focus groups that will explore issues in greater depth.

  • Host virtual focus groups via Zoom
